About the event
This workshop will introduce the basics of mushrooms, their role in the ecosystem, an explanation of the process for growing mushrooms from spore to fully inoculated kits, and an understanding of how Blake cycles them into his farm. Attendees will get instructions to care for their to-be-provided home mushroom kit to ensure maximum yield.
Attendees will be shown how to cut open a mushroom block for optimal fruiting, as well as cut ventilation in a bag to use as a humidity tent. They will take home the fruiting block and the humidity tent.
